Soma Sports in OGGI Top 50 Dealers: the only one in the Northeast

Soma Sports, from Carpina, Pernambuco (Brazil), received the OGGI Top 50 Dealers of Brazil award and is the only store in Brazil's Northeast with this recognition. The plaque presented by Oggi reads "Top 50 Melhores Lojas 2025" (Top 50 Best Stores 2025), and the achievement was announced on the store's Instagram on December 16, 2025.

In this post, we explain what the award means, what it says about the store and what changes for anyone buying a bike in Carpina, the Mata Norte region, Recife and all of Pernambuco.

What is the OGGI Top 50 Dealers of Brazil award?

It is Oggi's recognition of the brand's 50 best dealers in Brazil. Being on this list places Soma among Oggi's standout stores nationwide.

And one detail made the achievement even more special: among the 50 awarded dealers, Soma is the only one in the Northeast. In the store's own words, "we are the only one in the Northeast to earn this recognition."

An award that belongs to customers and team

In the announcement, Soma made a point of sharing the credit:

None of this would be possible without the trust of every customer who believes in our work and without this fantastic team, who lives every day with dedication, passion and a commitment to always delivering the best.

The photo of the team gathered under the store logo, wearing Top 50 T-shirts and holding the plaque, became one of the most memorable moments in Soma's recent history. It is on the Soma in Action page, along with Pedal Embraza, Customer Day and other moments at the store. The post's closing message sums up the spirit: "This award isn't just ours. It belongs to all of you."

Oggi at Soma: from your first bike to an e-MTB

Oggi is the brand that appears most on Soma's Instagram, and the store carries the brand's lineup at different levels. Some models that have passed through the showroom give you an idea of what you will find:

For beginners

Models such as the Oggi Hacker are a good fit for anyone who wants to start riding with quality and safety, whether in the city, on dirt roads or on their first trails.

For riders who train and hit the trails

The Oggi 7.0 and 7.6, with a Shimano Deore XT 12-speed groupset and Manitou suspension, suit riders who already ride often and want to level up. See more models under bikes.

For riders who want electric assist

In the electric lineup, the Oggi Big Wheel 8.2 and the Oggi Razzo are e-MTBs built for the trail, with a motor that helps on climbs and lets you go farther with less effort. They are on the e-bikes and electric rides page.

Besides Oggi, Soma works with Trek, Athor, Elleven, OXS, TSW and other well-known brands. The full list is under brands.

What it means for anyone buying at Soma

A dealer award reflects the store's day-to-day work. In practice, buying at Soma gives you:

• Help choosing: wheel size, frame size and groupset based on how you ride. The buying guide is a good place to start.
• Test ride: you try the bike before deciding.
• Bike assembled and adjusted: expert assembly done by a mechanic.
• In-house workshop: bike tune-ups and e-bike support after the sale.
• Easy payment: up to 18 interest-free installments on e-bikes and selected models.
• Delivery to other cities and states: the store serves Carpina and Recife and has already shipped bikes outside Pernambuco.

We keep riding together

The award post ended with a promise: "We stay strong, evolving and riding together toward new challenges!" You can see it in the store's daily life, in the Monday group ride, at events and in every bike delivered.

For riders in the Mata Norte region, having a dealer recognized among the 50 best in the country in their own city means finding the brand's lineup, parts, guidance and a workshop close to home, without traveling far for top-level service.
